Big Game Fishing

Being a privileged and compulsory stopover for big migratory fish, Mauritius has become a most valuable distination for big-game fishing. Experienced skippers and crew will take you into the vast open sea to chase for marlin, espadon, tuna, wahoo….Share the thrill of this pursuit on hiring a boat for 6 or 9 hours ( A maximum of 3 anglers and 5 accompanying persons are allowed on board).

Bois Cheri, Crocodile Park and Saint Aubin

At Bois Cheri, you will be charmed by the beauty of its lush greenery and the inner refreshing atmosphere of this region. In the course of a visit through the tea plantation, you will have the opportunity to see its factory and museum. Then have a tea-break up the hills where the view over the South is breathtaking. Your next stop will be at the Crocodile park and nature reserve to discover monkeys, bats, giant tortoises and other animals from the region. Lunch will be served at the Saint Aubin house in a nice setting of times bygone. To end the day your guide will bring you to an anthurium greenhouse and a vanilla plantation.

Curepipe, Grand Bassin, Plaine Champagne and Chamarel
Friday
Enjoy a puff of fresh air. Feast your eyes on the panoramic view from the top of ‘Trou Aux Cerfs’, an extinct volcano about 700,000 years old. Brief stop in the town centre of Curepipe of visit a ship model factory and for some shopping. Before lunch, you will proceed to Grand Bassin, a sacred lake for pilgrims of the Hindu community. Only a stone throw from this mystical site are the Black River Gorges, Chamarel and its coloured earth.

This excursion will also bring you to Floreal renowed for its shopping arcades.
