Bois Cheri, Crocodile Park and Saint Aubin
Wednesday
At Bois Cheri, you will be charmed by the beauty of its lush greenery and the inner refreshing atmosphere of this region. In the course of a visit through the tea plantation, you will have the opportunity to see its factory and museum. Then have a tea-break up the hills where the view over the South is breathtaking. Your next stop will be at the Crocodile park and nature reserve to discover monkeys, bats, giant tortoises and other animals from the region. Lunch will be served at the Saint Aubin house in a nice setting of times bygone. To end the day your guide will bring you to an anthurium greenhouse and a vanilla plantation.

Criosieres Australes 'Le Shandrani' - South East Coast
Monday and Wednesday
Glide on the crystal clear waters of a tropical lagoon and discover the breathtaking view of Mauritius from the sea on board of one of Croisieres Australes catamarans.
The Shandrani caters for the South-East coast from Blue Bay. This cruise will head to Ille Aux Cerfs where nature has created a unique scenery. Enjoy your lunch on board the catamaran. Swimming snorkelling and moments of pleasurable idleness will end the day. Embarkation - Shandrani Hotel.

Picturesque Mahebourg

Take the road to reach the ‘Domaine des Aubineaux’ for a glimpse of historic Mauritius in its full authenticity. Heading south, you will be delightfully hit by the rare scent that overspeads the tea plantations in the village of Nouvelle France and Rose-Bell. In Mahebourge, visit the naval museum there are a preserved collection of relics salvaged from the wrecks, reminiscent of the fierce naval battles that took place in the region. Afterwards stop at the typical and colourful market place of the village before going to Anse Bambous at Vieux Grant Port for lunch in a rustic place wrapped up by the sky, the mountain and the sea. After lunch, stroll through the mangrove forest full of natural life or glide gently in the fish reserve.
